My van, my van...

Well this morning, sometime between 1am and 9:30 am, someone decided to put acid on the hood of our minivan. And because it splashed and ran, there is damage under the hood, on the door, on the headlamp and on the bumper. The total damages could easily go into a couple thousand dollars. We are absolutely stunned. Melissa asked our next door neighbors if they saw anything and the guy said no but maybe it was the same teenager who stole his radio. However, the woman stood there smirking the whole time.

The police at first wouldn't even investigate it. I had to call them back after Melissa did to get them to send someone out to check into it. The officer is out there right now as I type this seeing if anyone might have witnessed it. I am still in shock that someone would have the audacity to do this.

At worst the 2 people in our neighborhood who we have any problems with are minor. One neighbor used to be a chain smoker and it drove us nuts before we got an AC unit. So I was a little abrupt with the guy cause it would poor into our window at night or we would roast to death. However, to this day they still throw beer cans and garbage in our yard.

The other guy is across the way from our carport and he double parks, which unfortunately makes it so I can't use my carport at all. When I asked nicely if he wouldn't do that anymore he flew into a rage about how it was his right. Then later when Darin helped us move a piano into our house, Darin had to park kinda in the way. Well this neighbor came out and started yelling at us for being hypocrits since Darin was now blocking the way. Despite the fact that Darin very politely offered to move his truck. The guy then got so enraged when told that it wasn't the same thing, since he parks in the way EVERYDAY and we offered to get out of the way. He got so mad that he almost started a fist fight with Darin, but this, too, was awhile ago and now all he does is give us dirty looks.
