Summer

Summer oh summer...what a bummer.
Heat that's insane, class that's a pain.
Need a job to pay the rent...
So my landlord doesn't get bent.
School money's agone,
This is a stupid song.

:)

Well, Melissa and I pretty much aced all of our classes last Quarter. She is taking the summer off from classes. I don't have that option so I am finally taking my history class. It's not bad actually. The real problem at this point is that my temp agency is not giving me any work hours. Before they got me stuff pretty quick, but now nothing...I realized I never applied at ManPower, so I am probably going to go down there. I really like OfficeTeam but having 3 temp agencies looking is that much more chance, heh.

Melissa is firing her Neurologist. He just doesn't listen to her at all. (Apparently from what she has been reading on this disease, this is a common problem with Neurologists.) And the last time we were there he miss prescribed her medication! When we got to the pharmacy, the pharmacist refused to prescribe the drugs. The pharmacist told Melissa that the pain killer the Neuro had prescribed for 2 months could absolutely not be taken for more than 5 days and even that was still a risk. Apparently it's a really high end painkiller for post-op patients in severe pain meant to only be taken for the first couple days or so because if you continue to use it, it causes severe bleeding of the stomach and intestines. Thank God, her pharmacist was paying attention. It's kinda scary to me.

Today, I woke up with horrible back pain. I have now taken several painkillers in desperation (For those who don't know: so far in my life no painkiller has ever worked well, not even morphine) and some ibuprofen in hopes that maybe reduced swelling can help.
